The Flashing Blade Podcast 1-5

Yes, yes, yes, I know, I know, this isn;t a proper blog entry…sorry but Ive been very busy and also incredibly hot – which I hate, LOL…Normal service will be resumed just as soon as I know what is normal 😛

Recorded in Very Hot Circumstances, in this episode, Jo! and Tony wilt whilst reviewing the Big Finish play ‘Spacegoat’ and then go on to melt during the review of little known classic, ‘Genesis of the Daleks’. We also have feedback and, of course, entries to our still running competition, ‘1001 Uses For A Nick Briggs’.

Also, we recommend The Terrible Zodin fanzine, found here: http://doctorwhottz.blogspot.com/

All feedback, mp3 or mail, along with comp entries to show@flashingblade.org.uk

next time: ‘The Canabalists’ and ‘Black Orchid’.

Spacegoats!!!

    Hmmm! You love it!

Happy to lend Jo! many of my DrWho DVD’s. I’ve managed to burn most of them to my iPod, so won’t miss them for a few weeks / months.

    Bod be with you

    Hi Tony

That cat on your lap last podcast was a definite highlight. Sound quality on the “meeow” excellent. Could actually picture the little blighter trying to eat your microphone type-thingy.

Any chance of some DVD reviews? I’ve just watched “Delta and the Bannermen” for the first time in 22 years and actually quite liked it! Madness!

Still enjoying the podcast! keep on drifting…

    Hi Tony,
Any reason the bitrate has changed?

Hello Ticeman. Yes, there IS a reason, lol.

basically we have 250mg per month of storage. We had, I think, 43mg of space left for June. Any bitrate higer then 80 left the file as too big. So this time around the bitrate had to be reduced – NOT something I wanted. Depending on finances I may double our storage space so this doesn’t happen againb…but it’s al lmoney, alas.
